The Denver Broncos have bolstered their draft capital by trading wide receiver Jerry Geody to the Cleveland Browns for multiple draft picks, according to multiple reports.

 

Giudy, the Broncos' first-round pick in 2020, heads to Cleveland after a tenure in Denver that featured flashes of brilliance and consistency and struggles with injuries. The talented wideout, who turns 25 next month, joins a Browns team desperate for help with Amari Cooper.

 

Broncos gain draft capital, cap space

For the Broncos, the trade symbolizes a continuing rebuild. They will receive a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the upcoming 2024 draft, adding to their stockpile of picks. Denver has been aggressive in reducing salary cap space this offseason, and Giody's departure frees up a significant chunk – reportedly around $13 million.
